Peter Jackson 🥊 1919 T218
1910 T218, Peter Jackson 🥊
How often have you seen an image of a boxer fighting in the middle of a plantation?
Peter Jackson, known as the "Black Prince," was an Australian heavyweight of the late 19th century who gained international acclaim for his skill, stamina, and sportsmanship. Despite being one of the most talented fighters of his era, racial barriers prevented him from receiving a shot at the world heavyweight title, even though he fought to a famous 61-round draw with future champion James J. Corbett in 1891. Over his career, Jackson defeated many top contenders, leaving behind a legacy as one of the greatest boxers never to hold the championship.
