Do you have a PC card you love in part because of some crazy story of how you acquired it?

Clint Thomas is one of my favorite Negro Leaguers to collect anyway. But man, this card was a needle in a haystack for me for years. There are only 11 total examples in sgc's pop report in the first place.

I missed out on the first try when a friend and I purchased a big lot together and then did sort of a draft lottery to see who got to pick first. I lost.

When I found this one, it was lodged into the collection of a guy who had no interest in selling anything. After keeping in touch with him for several years, he finally said yeah, it's time to downsize and this one can go.

I do know the feeling. I'm not getting any younger myself, but I swear this one will be one of the last to go...combination of a card I love of a player I really appreciate and just how hard I had to work to land it!
