General George Armstrong Custer, a graduate of West Point, greatlyh distinguished himself under General Sheridan in the Civil War. After the war, Custer served in the western United States fighting Indians.
He met his demise in 1976, at the hands of the great Sioux Chief, Sitting Bull, at the Battle of Little Bighorn.
