Jim pitched for all or parts of 10 Major League seasons as a swingman going 41-48 with a 3.88 earned run average and seven saves. In his post playing days he co-founded and was the first president of the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association. Jim Hannan would have turned 87 today but passed away back in 2024 at the age of 85.
