Only one catcher in the history of Major League Baseball has posted 100 walks, 100 RBI, and batted .300 in a single season and that was “Mule” who walked 109 times, drove in 107 runs and hit an even .300 in 1970, his lone All Star season. Dick Dietz would have turned 84 today but passed away from a heart attack back in 2005 at the age of 63.
