Sometimes things don’t work out. Bob was the Chicago White Sox number one pick and the fourth pick overall in the 1967 Major League Baseball Entry Draft. He played 72 games over parts of three seasons collecting 37 hits in 183 at bats (.202). Bob Spence turns 80 today.
