Roberto pitched in 57 games over parts of two Major League seasons with three teams but pitched for 17 seasons in his native Venezuela where he became the first of three pitchers to log 50 wins and 50 saves in his career. Roberto Rodriguez would have turned 85 today but passed away from heart failure back in 2012 at the age of 71.
