Steve was a backup infielder for parts of five Major League seasons with three teams. One of them though was not the San Francisco Giants. Acquired by them after his most prolific 1970 season with the San Diego Padres, he was traded to the Chicago White Sox before ever suiting up for them. Steve Huntz turns 80 today.
