A huge piece of ww2 history Trinitite was created after the first test bomb was dropped in Alamogordo New Mexico on a site called the trinity site. The material is a glassy like substance fused together by the heat of the atomic blast from the bomb. In the early 50s the site got covered up due to souvenir hunters taking pieces and selling it.
