Early 1900s Patek Philippe Chronometro Gondolo Pocket Watch

A wonderful example of an early 1900s Patek Philippe pocket watch- with a really cool history!

This pocket watch was originally sold via the famous Brazilian watch retailer Gondolo & Labouriau- based in Rio de Janeiro- sold circa 1910.

What makes this pocket watch so interesting is that it was made specifically for the Brazilian retailer - and at the time Chronometro Gondolo models had particular elements and parts that were specific to the models distributed by Gondolo & Labouriau.

The dial of the pocket watch is also stamped “Chronometro Gondolo”, as well as “Patek Philippe & Cie”, of course.

Complete with its original box and Certificate.

This is currently the first and only pocket watch in my collection, but I hope to add more!
