Ever miss out on a chase/grail because you didn’t “smash BIN” fast enough (respect to Brett McGrath/Stacking Slabs) or bid high enough on a listing? If so, did you vow to not let the card slip away if it was listed again? That was me last month with this 1998 Penny auto. It’s a POP 17 in PSA 10 (PSA and PSA/DNA combined), and I think it’s only sold 5 times since 2022. Might not be rare for some, but it’s thr rarest card I’ve chased since jumping back into cards last year.

Lucky me, it went up for auction last week and I was not throwing away my shot (Saw Hamilton with the fam a few weeks ago. The reference was sitting there.).

I won tonight’s auction, and I plan on keeping it in my PC for a long time.
