Ken Boyer ⭐ Underappreciated Third Baseman
1964 Topps Giants #57, Ken Boyer. ⭐
Ken Boyer was an outstanding third baseman, widely respected for his all-around play. He spent most of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals (1955–1965), winning five Gold Gloves, making seven All-Star teams, and capturing the 1964 National League MVP award while leading the Cardinals to a World Series championship. Boyer was known for his strong defense, clutch hitting, and leadership, finishing with 282 home runs and over 1,100 RBIs.
Ken Boyer is one of the most notable omissions from the Hall of Fame.
Many baseball historians and fans believe his combination of peak performance, defensive excellence, and championship impact give him a strong case for enshrinement.
