I’ve posted before about the Upper Deck PowerDeck set and its uniqueness. I recently got lucky enough to get my hands on a sealed hobby box. The chase of this set is a Walter Payton on card autographed with game used memorabilia , serial-numbered to his iconic jersey number #34.
It’s one of the most elusive pulls in a short-lived, innovative set, and arguably a tribute to one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, running backs to ever carry the football in the NFL.
Now I’m facing a real dilemma:
Do I save this box for a rainy day, keeping its mystery and potential value intact?
Or do I rip it open, take the gamble, and see if I can be one of the lucky 34 collectors to pull this legendary card?
What would you do?
