The first bottle that got me going was John E. Fitzgerald very special. I walked into a total wine near my house looking for beer and happened to be chatting with the manager who had just gotten off the phone with someone who was sending their secretary to pick up as many bottles as she could buy.
The manager said she had one left but at ~$200 I was very hesitant. I ended up pulling the trigger and saved it until I married my wife. Because of the story, I ended up buying a second one at auction for 10x that original price
