In 13 MLB seasons Vince Coleman had 752 stolen bases ranking him sixth all time. He led the entire MLB league in stolen bases four separate times, and won the national league for six consecutive seasons. Taking it back to his 23 year old rookie season he stole 110 bases rookie record) and earned NL rookie of the year. He was the last player to steal 100+ bases in ‘87

Coleman was a burner once running a 9.5 second 100 yard dash.

He batted the top of the order of a cardinals team with major speed because Willie McGee and Tom Herr were also quick. Then Jack Clark would bat clean up and have the table set for RBI opportunities.
