Manuel “Cocaina” Garcia pitched in the Negro Leagues in the 20s and 30s and is a member of the Venezuelan Baseball Hall of Fame. He was most known for his pitching but was a heck of a hitter. This is a 1945-46 Carmelo Deportivo. These cards are paper thin and were usually glued into albums by collectors. Martin Dihigo, Ray Brown, Minnie Miñoso (his true rookie card), and many other greats are in this set, along with the 1946-47 Carmelo Deportivo set. I’m lucky enough to have a few cards from the set.
