Today I went to a card show in central PA and rooted through the dollar bins while everyone else was distracted by cracked ice parallels. I spent about $200 and came away with a Tony Dorsett SGC 7.5 rookie ($50), Edgerrin James holo-silver rookie numbered to 99 ($40), and 94 (!!!) quality cards from the junk wax era.
The belles of the ball are a 1998 Topps Minted in Cooperstown Griffey that I nabbed for $2 and a bizarre 1998 Topps Finest miscut card featuring half of a John Franco front and a full Jon Nunnally back. Could be worth $100, could be worth the dollar I paid for it. I’ll let eBay decide.
