We found a few boxes of old Topps sets that were sold at a relative's store back in the day. They range from 1988 to 91 and have been unopened and are in the original box. A quick Google search shows some potential gems in these boxes (the George HW Bush card, a Griffey rookie, but not the Upper Deck one and the Frank Thomas rookie with possible errors), but not much else. Is it better to keep them as is, break open and see what's in there or sell as a whole? Trying to see which route provides the best value play.
