Disappointed with most modern dinosaur figures, I was curious about the Jurassic World Hammond Collection, which seemed to be higher quality toys than the usual slop they make now. I bought this stygimoloch at Target to see if they're up to my standards.

Turns out, they are really, really nice. The plastic feels good, there's tons of detail and texture, some rubber accents, and best of all beautiful transparent glossy eyes that really bring life to the figure.

I'm officially hooked and will be buying more 100%. Maybe this will reignite my interest in dinosaurs in general. The love of dinosaurs never really leaves a (wo)man though, does it?
