I found these two NFL cards in the shoe box. I wish I could remember how I got them and wish I had more NFL cards from the 1980’s

Singletary was the prototype middle linebacker. He was an intense, ferocious, and relentless leader. He had these intense and fiery wide open eyes (almost like he had super vision). He won a Super Bowl in ‘85 with the Bears and was enshrined into the NFL HOF in 1998.

Pepper Johnson was a brute force inside and the brains of the defense. Lawrence Taylor and Carl Banks wreaked havoc on the edges and Pepper was the steady dependable presence. I remember being a youngin’ watching the Giant games and hearing Peppers name, but his Jersey had T. Johnson which would confuse me-why isn’t it P? His first name is Thomas and Pepper was just a cool nickname.
