I started following this guy back in 2009 when he helped Japan win the WBC. In August of 2017, I was so hyped when the Dodgers picked him up before the deadline. Unfortunately the Dodgers didn’t resign him and the rest is history. It’s not easy supporting him in a Padres uniform but he’ll always be one of my top 5 all time players.
