1964 Topps Giants Set ⭐
I like to display my cards whenever possible.
This set was one of the first I ever completed and because they are oversized cards and graded, it requires a big case to display them all.
The set contains 60 over-sized cards, each measuring 3 1/8" by 5 1/4". The fronts of each card contain a color photograph of the player, as well as a baseball near the bottom of the card with his name, team and position. The backs of each card use a newspaper format to provide biographical information, as well as another black and white action shot.
The set consists of 3 players from each of the 20 teams from 1964, with over one-third of the set being Hall of Famers.
It has 7 very tough to find short print cards: #3 Sandy Koufax, #28 Bob Friend, #42 Dick Stuart, #45 Wayne Causey, #47 Galen Cisco, #51 Willie Mays and #60 Bill Skowron. Other popular and tough cards in the 1964 Topps Giants Set are: #11 Roberto Clemente, #18 Jim Fregosi, #21 Elston Howard, #25 Mickey Mantle, #49 Hank Aaron and #57 Ken Boyer (w/o qualifiers).
