On November 17, 1933 the Reds traded pitcher Red Lucas to the Pirates in exchange for a couple journeymen.
After the trade, Lucas never lost a game against his old Cincinnati mates, going 14-0 against them during the remainder of his career. Red had his best year for the Bucs in 1936, going 15-4, with a 3.18 ERA.
