Huge respect goes out to this guy who dreamed of playing baseball when the odds were stacked against him. He believed so strongly that he could despite his obvious physical limitations and made it work for him on an elite level.

There are a lot of life lessons we all can learn from Jim Abbott that we can take into our own lives. He never let labels like “disabled” define him and was super determined by his work ethic and kept showing up. By doing so, his “limitations” were turned into innovation. He continues to inspire kids today with his story and accomplishments.
