Jimmy "Jimmie" Foxx ⭐ 1934 Goudey
1934 Goudey #1, Jimmy "Jimmie" Foxx ⭐
The position of Card #1, was not taken lightly by early vintage card manufacturers.
Jimmie earned Card #1, in Goudey's 1934 Baseball edition by having one of the most dominant offensive performances in MLB history during the 1933 MLB season.
That year, he won hitting's Triple Crown, led the American League with a .356 BA, 48 HRs, and 163 RBIs playing for the Philadelphia Athletics. He was also named the American League MVP, marking his second consecutive MVP award.
This may be the nicest 1934 Goudey baseball card that I've seen in a PSA 1 holder.
