Gifting my first custom Pokémon card to a young client (with parental guidance). He’s an 8-year-old collector who recently showed me his growing collection—modest but full of pride. He’s been saving his allowance to buy cards and enjoys trading with friends, building his own little Pokémon universe.

I created this card as a small gesture to celebrate his curiosity, creativity, and dedication—hoping to encourage his passion for collecting and design.

Shown here is a 6-pigment chromaphane card, designed in CAD and 3D printed. I customized the palette: replacing the traditional yellow with a satin sheen of silk gold, aqua blue with a rich cobalt blue, and enhancing the classic red with a blend of wine red and orange pigments.
