Collectibles are about storytelling. We pay for the privilege of taking care of these stories. I am thrilled to be exhibiting Marilyn Monroe's 1962 address book next week in Grand Central Terminal. By extracting contacts and adding context and supporting documents and memorabilia, I can create a narrative of a woman of intent and soft power while telling of her overlooked life in New York City.
