In Florida, on the gulf coast, there are some beaches that you can find many species of sharks teeth. Not by diving (although that’s where you find the bigger megalodon teeth) but be sifting the sand a few feet from the waters edge. You can find 50-200 in day once you train your eyes on what to look for! You can find bull shark, tiger shark, sand shark, great white, megalodon and other species. Some of the larger, more rare or colorful pieces fetch a lot of money -but mostly it’s just for fun. Some of these fossilized teeth are 100 million years old!
