1971 Fleer World Series (Black Back) #69, '71 Pirates-Orioles 🏆
This card is a tough find, especially in good condition. I spent several years until I found this one raw and took a chance. Happy that I did so.
On October 17, 1971, Roberto homered to put the Bucs ahead for good in Game 7 of the '71 World Series and was voted MVP of the series.
Roberto Clemente, aside from being the greatest humanitarian in all of sports, led the Bucs to the 1971 World Championship over the mighty and heavily favored Baltimore Orioles.
Roberto Clemente was legendary on and off the field, a rare combination.
