Also @Goldin to benefit The Marilyn Monroe Mental Health for the Arts Program is a unique pop artwork by "Futurerelics" artist Robert Mars, a 48-by-68-inch mixed media acrylic on wood piece titled "Angel Face Marilyn" that pays tribute Hollywood's leading lady, Marilyn Monroe. As typical of Mars' works, the duplicity of America's obsession with celebrity and material goods is on full display. Monroe's duplicated portrait is washed out with colorful yellow and green stripes, with vintage magazine and newspaper clippings throughout, and the unmistakable Chanel No. 5 perfume logo and tagline layered over a red American flag star pattern. This piece is in fantastic condition, with Mars' signature written on the back of the frame in gold paint marker.
