Topps including dogs within Allen & Ginter is a bit controversial to collectors who just joined the hobby a few years ago.

Dogs were a pretty common Tobbaco card subject in the late 1800s and early 1900s, so nothing new here. I've included a picture of a bloodhound featured in the 1890 Allen & Ginter Quadrupeds (N21) set.

Some of these dog and animal cards fetch a good chunk of change in high grades due to set builders.

What subject matter do you want to see in Ginter next? IMO they should revisit famous Generals or Presidents.
