This is only the third historical relic game ticket in my collection.
This one is so significant, that I get chills when I look at it.
This ticket marks Satchel Paige's first, last, and only World Series appearance, which occurred during his rookie season.
Aside from becoming the first Black player to pitch in a World Series game, he helped lead the Indians to their first and only World Championship.
One feature that I really like is the image of Chief Wahoo on the ticket.
The Indians officially introduced Chief Wahoo in 1947.
