I've been to my share of garage sales- lord knows I can spot a bargain- but I've never ventured into an estate sale.
It's sort of a strange premise, right? Someone died, and now I'm in their house inspecting all of their worldly possessions, deciding which of the items they loved is junk and what's worthy of coming home with me (ofc never for a price the owner would have been thrilled with).
But I'd like to get over my hesitation, and I'm looking for advice. And not “make sure you negotiate!” Give me something good and make me confident enough to walk into a stranger’s house ready to buy old stuff!
I may feature some of it in a future edition of Mail Day!
