I am a huge UNO Maverick hockey fan (college). For those that don't follow the sport closer, this was the first year that the NCAA allowed Canadian players who played in the CHL before coming to college, to play and it not affect the players' eligibility. Because of this new rule, the Mavs' roster is heavy with CHL players. And thankfully, Upper Deck has done CHL sets, and sellers on ebay have many of those cards listed.
I came across this card of one of those ex-CHLers now playing for us. It is an awesome card, with both the prism look and the short print. And I think it would great signed.
My question is, if I were to try to get him to sign it, would it be okay as is to sign, or would I need to prep a spot, like with a magic eraser or whatever?
Most of the cards I've had signed by these guys have been base cards with standard Sharpies. This is the first non-base card. And if I do get this one signed, I am leaning towards a blue one.
