Which do you prefer? Are there criteria that you look for in either?

I started off collecting only vertical cards because I didn’t like how horizontal cards looked graded. I’ve gotten to the point where I prefer the horizontals. I just can’t bring myself to grade them.

I like when cards either have a medium shot image or a full shot that’s in action. Since I’m analyzing images based on film study, I think my newly discovered appreciation for horizontal cards comes from it fitting my ideal framing. Maybe our preferred media sources will dictate our visual preference? Vertical for IG and TikTok vs Horizontal for film and TV.
