Hi, first time posting here! There’s probably a better way to make an entrance with a first post, but I was reflecting on this past year of collecting and much as I am happy with my collection, my purchases and non purchases, this is the one that got away!
I saw it at Fanatics Fest in NYC mid August, this copy owned by Clark @fivecardguys (great podcaster and hobby friend), and I just didn’t have the resources to make a reasonable offer on the card, which reminds me of when I was a kid and there were a ton of cards I couldn’t afford back then.
So as an adult, I’ve been in many ways chasing my childhood and trying to fill a hole with nostalgia in the form of 90’s 🏀 cards. Maybe this actually was a good first post to introduce myself to the Mantel community!
