The post featured a picture of an autographed 1992 Classic Manon Rheaume card that Rheaume had sent me as a thank you for promoting her children’s book, ‘Breaking the Ice: The True Story of the First Woman to Play in the National Hockey League.’

At the time, it was the only women’s card in my collection. It was then that I realized I had thrown myself into the deep end of the pool without really knowing how to swim."
