Garnacho a Top 5 Goal-Scoring Prospect?
I’ve been thinking about Alejandro Garnacho lately, and he belongs in the top 5 goal-scoring prospects list right now. He’s got that "it" factor where he just knows how to find the back of the net when things get messy.
Here’s the breakdown on where he’s at:
Club: Manchester United then Chelsea
Nationality: Argentina
Age: 21
Injury History: He’s been pretty lucky for the most part.
Why he’s Top 5:
The guy shows up in big moments. He scored in the FA Cup final and has a habit of bagging goals when the team actually needs them, not just padding stats when they're up 4-0.
His movement is great. Even if he’s having a quiet game, you’ll look up and he’s somehow getting a shot off in the box. He’s always aggressive and looking to score rather than just passing it sideways.
Why people might disagree:
Sometimes he tries to do way too much on his own. He’ll take a wild shot when there’s an easy pass open, which can be frustrating to watch.
He gets a lot of chances, but he also misses a fair amount.
I think he’s easily in that top bracket of young players who actually have a goal-scoring instinct, but I know some people think he's a bit overrated because of the United and Chelsea hype.
Do you guys agree he's Top 5, or am I reaching?
