Billy Parker RC ⭐ MLB Pioneer
1972 Topps #213 Billy Parker RC ⭐ MLB Pioneer
On September 9, 1971, Billy Parker became the only rookie to ever hit a walk-off home run in his debut game. This HR helped the Angels beat the Milwaukee Brewers in the 12th inning, and it was his fourth at-bat of the game. So while several players have homered in their first at-bat, Parker stands alone as the only rookie to ever hit a walk-off home run in his debut game.
Billy Parker played in the Negro League for the Indianapolis Clowns.
