Clayton Kershaw records 1st career save to send Dodgers to NLCS- 10/14/16 - Candy

In Game 5 of the 2016 National League Division Series, Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw recorded his first MLB save in a tense 4-3 win over the Washington Nationals. Kershaw started Game 4 on short rest, only two days earlier throwing 110 pitches and striking out 11 over 6 2/3 innings. Kershaw would go on to get Daniel Murphy to pop up and Wilmer Difo to strike out, sealing the win and sending Los Angeles to the National League Championship Series to face the Chicago Cubs.
