What’s that one card you‘ll always put in the ‘good pile’ even though it’s effectively worthless? For me it’s the 1987 Topps Mark McGwire, which was the poor man’s McGwire rookie for any kid growing up in the 1990s (his true rookie is ’85 Topps). No matter how old I get, no matter how little value this card holds, I’ll always get excited when I find one.
