I got this 1987 Topps Barry Bonds rookie autograph way back in 1987. I loved the wood borders and I also love the 1987 Fleer look. I sent it in to be PSA/DNA authenticated as well. His signature has changed a lot over the years in this represents very early Bonds autograph. He’s starting to sign more again, but I think his rookie autographs will always hold their value.

What’s that one card you‘ll always put in the ‘good pile’ even though it’s effectively worthless? For me it’s the 1987 Topps Mark McGwire, which was the poor man’s McGwire rookie for any kid growing up in the 1990s (his true rookie is ’85 Topps). No matter how old I get, no matter how little value this card holds, I’ll always get excited when I find one.
