Exciting Automotive Design Art Acquisition!
Just received this amazing piece won at auction! Original automotive concept design illustration for a Plymouth Fury convertible. Signed LAWSON and dated 1958 - auction details indicated designer is Florence Lawson but I haven't yet been able to find any biographical details. This is a MASSIVE Piece measuring 23 inches by 35 inches
I strongly believe original automotive design art is one of the most incredibly undervalued areas of collectibles. Museum quality pieces of automotive history can be found for hundreds up to low thousands (where pieces of equivalent rarity and impact can sell for tens of thousands in other categories). Anyone know other undervalued areas of collecting? Thoughts?
