Eric “The Red” Davis was THE GUY on the Cincinnati Reds in the late 80’s. He had a blend of speed, power, strength, and pizazz with his unique batting stance -that was also super popular to imitate during whiffle games. I don’t think he made it into the 40/40 club but was probably awfully close with his speed & power.

I remember being super proud to buy this card for $20 from the local shop. I probably bought this card during its peak value at the time also (I’m starting to see I had a knack for that 😉)
