Funny how the hobby works sometimes. A couple weeks ago I started adding more Brandon Phillips cards to the PC, and then last Monday it was announced he’s being inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame this upcoming season.

Dat Dude was one of my absolute favorite players to watch — the swagger, the defense, the energy every single night. Couldn’t have timed those pickups any better. Well deserved honor for one of the great Reds of his era.
