I collected baseball throughout my childhood but started switching to other sports just before Covid. My switch to non sports cards was around 2022 where I met Marc (uncommon_curator on IG) at the Chicago sports spectacular that year. While walking around the whole showroom floor, I noticed that his booth had stuff out of the ordinary stuff that really caught my eye. My buddy Tom and myself stopped to chat with Mark for maybe 30 minutes about all this old boxing, music and movie star cards that he had lying out on his table. Having never seen stuff like this, we were very intrigued to say the least. Not knowing much about most of his cards lol, These mid to late 60s Dutch Gum cards caught my eye instantly! I’m such a music fan that I had to buy these without a doubt. Just how great both the groups are and how vibrant the pink and the green are on both these cards, I’ll never stop collecting them!
