Good Morning Mantel ⭐️
2006 Topps Triple Threads Relic Auto, #11/18 ⭐️ Steve Garvey
I'm not a Dodgers fan, per se, but Steve Garvey is one of my favorite all-time players.
When Roberto Clemente passed away, I feel like Steve Garvey became one of the defining position players of the 70s.
IMO, in 2028 he has a strong case to be voted into the HOF by the Classic Baseball Era Committee, the same group that voted in Dick Allen and Dave Parker.
Garvey was a 10-time All-Star selection, an NL MVP award, four Gold Gloves, a .294 lifetime batting average, over 2,500 hits,
He won the NLCS MVP Award twice, in 1978 with the Dodgers and again in 1984 with the San Diego Padres. He was the first player ever to win the NLCS MVP award twice.
Additionally, he won the MLB All-Star Game MVP Award twice, in 1974 and 1978.
