Florence Joyner World Record Setting and Olympic Gold Medal Winning Shoes
Florence Joyner (Flo Jo) made waves in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. She dominated both the 100m and 200m run. For the 200m run she shattered the then World Record with a time of 21.34 seconds (a record that holds to this date) and won the Gold medal. Her 1988 200m final shoes are up on Auction at Sotheby's and is expecting to go around $100K - $200K, with bidding ending on August 2nd.
