1958 World Series Game 4
Warren Spahn pitched a complete game shutout as the Milwaukee Braves beat the Yankees 3-0. Whitey Ford took the loss. Spahn only gave up 2 hits (one to Mickey Mantle) & had an RBI. Hank Aaron went 2-4 with a double. Eddie Matthews had a double & RBI. The Yankees didn’t do much but they would go on to win the series in 7. This was the Braves’ last victory in a postseason game until Game 2 of the 1991 NLCS.
