The biannual Chicago Sports Spectacular took place this past weekend, March 13-15. I’ve attended the five most recent shows — almost always as soon as doors open for the “sneak peek” on Friday afternoon — and have seen a few things evolve on the magazine front.

The good: There were more ungraded magazines than I’ve seen at any of the previous four Spectaculars.

The bad: Some vendors didn’t treat their issues with much care, to put it mildly.

Brand new Gargoyles Dale Earnhardt Signature sunglasses from the millennium era. Almost impossible to find brand new I’m incredibly honored to have this collectible in my possession. The Dale Earnhardt collectible market is heavily saturated from charcoal bags to snap on toolboxes and everything in between he licensed his name almost on everything. These however are extremely rare.

Pop culture and racing infused this was an absolute must pick up for me. Wearable collectibles continue to rise.

Now the question is do wear these or keep them in the box. What do you all think?
